Who Knew?

All day yesterday we were planning for the big night. There was so much excitement. The countdown began right after church. Adam and I got all the kids loaded in the car. We were all chanting in the car. Wahoo! Tonight's the big night. As we pulled up to our destination the squeals of delight were replaced with, "oh man". The place was dark. I decided to go and investigate. Sure enough on the front door a sign was posted.

"Skating Rink will be closed on Sunday. Enjoy the Super Bowl".

Super Bowl! Who knew?! Obviously not us!

Lol. That stinks! It's like a mini version of Wally World being closed. We were all psyched and PROUD here in Jersey. (Go Giants!) I knew I wasn't going anywhere but my living room.

What a bummer! I'm sure there was disappointment in that car. I took my 2 oldest ice skating for the 1st time a couple of months ago. They absolutely loved it!! They keep asking to go back.

The superbowl means nothing to us either. We never even know when it is happening.
