Please Tell Me...

I can do this.
Please tell me I can watch my son suffer.
Please tell me I can remain strong.
Please help remind me.....

"It is not my circumstances that vexes me as much as the depth of my faith.
For, if I truly believed God works everything out for His perfect glory then no amount of strife or turmoil should trouble me."
Steffany

Please...

Because right now.
at this moment
I feel like I can't do it.

I know you CAN do this because when you are weak God is strong.
You CAN do this because God chose Jace for you knowing you would walk beside him on this crazy journey. You CAN do this because your love for this boy is stronger than anything else that is coming against you.
You CAN do this and God is so proud of your tenacity and determination.

I believe in you.

God believes in you.

Jace believes in you.

We are your arm lifters during this battle, helping you fight this fight by praying for you and for God's strength to gird you up.

HE will NOT leave you, forsake you or give you more than you can handle even if it feels like it right now.

Keep fighting and we'll keep praying!!!

We love you and your precious family and are cheering you on....
Much love!!!

(Bear with me. This sounds harsh but it's not. Written in the Spirit.)

You can't do this.

I will not tell you that you can watch your son suffer.
I will not tell you that you can remain strong.

I WILL remind you:

Only Jesus is strong and on Him lean.

You your son healed and whole in Jesus' name. You encouraging words over your family. You up and take hold of His strength.

Speak the things that aren't as though they are.

After the down time, you must rise just like Jesus.

You have power through the Holy Spirit. You must now use that resurrection power.

Use IT! Use IT!

Rom 4:17
He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

Call into being that which is TRUTH not the facts that you have been given.

I will not tell you to be strong but to rise up. Be blessed. Accept His healing. Speak it.

(Written by my heart)
I know that in a bad situation, we have to go through that time of mourning. I have no idea what you are going through but I can feel your despiration to cling to God for your child. I feel like God has guided to me to speak these things to you even though I don't know you or your situation.

He hears you.

I won't be offended if you delete this comment.

Felt led to share this--it encourages me and reminds me that God knows best--

Why must I weep when others sing?
'To test the deeps of suffering.'

Why must I work while others rest?
'To spend my strength at God's request.'

Why must I lose while others gain?
'To understand defeat's sharp pain.'

Why must this lot of life be mine
When that which fairer seems is thine?

'Because God knows what plans for me
will blossom in eternity.'

from Streams in the Desert by Mrs. Charles E. Cowman

Praying! and you can't do this without CHRIST who works in you to accomplish His purposes! When you are week HE is strong!

I haven't read your blog for a long time (too busy) and just felt to read it now - as you share about the struggle you have to endure with your son.
I am deeply touched by what you must be going through - unimaginable - all that your family has been through since you rescued the twins from Africa!
You have a most beautiful heart of gold!
I am praying that you will be able to STAND in the day of battle - and lean on God and his strength - rest in him and his unfailing love that WILL see you through!
He will not give you anything to carry that is too much. His grace will be there - one day at a time.

I am reminded of Job - - -
Hold on and entrust yourself and your son into God's hand.
HE HAS THE LAST WORD!!!
