No Words

With so much being thrown my way, I am left without words to blog. I have faith that the tidal wave of challenges will go back to sea soon. Maybe then my words will find their way back to blogland, and maybe there will still be people around actually reading.

Until then....
Steffany

Not feeling equipped, huh? hehe, just kidding ;-0

I'm sorry things are so crazy right now. I'm sure there's a lot to it, but I've been praying about Gedese and the trip home. I started this Beth Moore Bible study today over Esther. The take away from today is that God is ALWAYS right in the midst of our lives, wether or not we can see & feel Him. It's easy to acknowledge that He holds the whole world together; directing the seas, orchestrating the universe, and keeping our fragile little hearts beating is a no brainer. Sometimes it's hard to imagine though that He has time to worry about the details of our individual lives. Is He really concerned with Christiana's passport, the time crunch, the craziness of raising six children, the movie, etc.? BUT HE IS. He's all over those details just as much as He is the processes that keep the planets in orbit. So don't loose faith sister. He's there in the eye of the storm. Sorting, planning, and watching. A few things Beth Moore said on the video that I had to write down:

"There's as much to learn about God when He doesn't make Himself known as when He does."

"Faith is putting God in EVERY fill in the blank."

"Seek Him and God's will will find you"

That gives me great hope for today and tomorrow. I love you.

I have been thinking about you a lot lately. Thinking about how you have such a special, unique family. Not only your kids but your "sister" in Gadese. I can only imagine how hard it would be to think about sending her back to Africa. I am sure it will be like loosing a part of you.

Just know, I have been thinking about you lately. And praying too.

I'll keep checking back to read. This year hasn't started out well for us either, so I'm hoping it gets better in the next few weeks/months. Just lean on God...
