Westward Bound

We are heading on the highway. It will surely be an adventure. Packing up our crew. Driving across the country. Oh yeah baby - We were born to be Wild.

We leave this Saturday morning to drive from Missouri to California. The kids, Gadese and I will be joining my man for the next month in LA to finish the last part of the film. SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not wait to smell the ocean air. I'm praying it will melt all our germs away. But more importantly I can't wait to be a daily support to my husband and to feel his arms around me every night. I can't wait for our kids to experience their dad in action and to witness first hand the power of a dream. I can't wait to see some old friends back home in LA and to hopefully make new ones. I can't wait to see all my kiddos toes in the sand and to watch Diezel and Daizey's eyes when they see the ocean for the first time.

*If there is anyone on our route to California, we are taking the Kansas, Denver, Utah, Nevada route and if it works out time wise. Maybe we could meet up for a leg stretch, decompress drive break.

I too, wish I were in that route. I am right there with you wanting to be that support for your hubby. Is he just working on this project or does he always work out of state?

Enjoy California, I miss it more than I can express.

Be safe. Praying for total healing on you and yours.

Oh man, didn't you know there is a huge detour on that route and you have to go a little further north?!?! I'll be on the side of the road at mile marker 287 with a Caribou for you! ;) I'll throw in some treats for the rest of the van crowd. ;)

Have fun packing today. I hope your time there is fabulous! :)

Luvu!

How exciting for all of you that you get to be with Adam for a whole month! Would love to meet up with you on Saturday anywhere between Kansas City and Manhattan, KS. Just need about two hours notice: and hour and a half to drive to and about 30 minutes to round up my kiddos. Just let me know...620-342-4706

We live 45 minutes southwest of Denver. You are welcome to stay at our home on your way there or back! We live on a mountain and have six children - it would be a big party!

Carolyn, I'm so sorry I missed you. Maybe on the way back. I'll give you a call.

Donna, I just checked out your blog. You seem like a woman after my own heart. What was up with your zip lining attempt:) I'll send you an email. I would love to maybe stop through on the way back.

Steffany,
We would love to see you on your journey. You dont know me personally, but I have read your blog for a month or so now. We have six kiddos (two from Liberia, home almost a year). It would be a blessing to meet with you and there are a couple of families I know who love to meet up with you too. If you get the chance, email me; fourgood2@yahoo.com
Peace, Amanda

How was the trip out? I don't know how I would have fared being the only driver and having six kiddos. I'm sure Gadese has been helpful with the kiddos..still you are amazing! Hey, I have a brother Karl who lives in Long Beach. He doesn't recall ever having met Adam but nonetheless would love to have you over for a BBQ or take you for a sailboat ride if you would be up to that. There is nothing like sailing on the ocean! His cell # is 562-243-3295. Karl is one of the nicest, goofiest people you will have ever met! I can assure you would have a positively memorable time!
