Is There Anything Else You Want to Tell Me?

I was amazed at how fast the Cipro started to work. By the 2nd day I was no longer in crazy pain. Then on day 3 I could barely make it out of bed. No pain just insanely heavy, tired, shivering all over and sounds weird I know but also eyes that felt like they were going to explode. I was so thankful Adam was home this weekend. It is not like me to not be able to function through the day. As I was lying in bed I would have to work incredibly hard just to move. On the 4th day I was a little better and actually joined the family for the majority of the day. Day 5 the doctor decided to extend my 5 day Cipro course to another 5 days. And now on day 6 I'm feeling a lot more normal. I actually sat down to eat. I had a nice big salad. About 10 minutes later my stomach started doing painful and audible things. Oh man. It was then that Gadese looks at me and says,"no salad. You can't eat salad with typhoid fever." What???????? Is there anything else you want to tell me? "

Ah man! Your poor body is getting pulled through the mud and back again. I would like to tell you.....don't do the dance until after you are healed b/c it might make you dizzy and pass out!! So please wait and then record the dance and let us see it again. :)

Ah, Gadese...that cracks me up! She has so many little nuggets of wisdom, and they just quietly and unexpectedly come out. I am sorry that you are still so stinkin' sick...UGH! What a bummer about the salad...finally something appeals to you and then the dreaded belly ache...UGH on that too!

HUGS!

Oh man. . .Yes, sit Gadese down and have a nice long conversation about ALL that she knows about Typhoid! I love that your US doctor doesn't know to tell you that, but Gadese does!

You poor thing. . I hope God has something amazing to show you in all of this to make it worthwhile!

Love you,
Bran

Oh no, are you going to have to do the bananas, rice and toast diet? I hope you are feeling better soon, this sounds awful.

What in the world does salad have to do with Typhoid?

Oh, so you have typhoid? Oh my. I am so sorry. I had Hep A, and it sounds so similar. All I can say is YUCK. It shall pass though.

How is Gadese? We loved her husband Alepacho while we were in Ethiopia, although we never met Gadese. How is she and how is he? Is he wanting to move to the states? How can we help this to happen?

Let me know.
