My Top 10 List
Starting with the most obvious:)
1. I have 6 kids.
2. I run a growing non-profit (I spend 4-12 hours daily on this)
3. Blog block
4. The last 48 hours I haven't left the bathroom that much
5. Jet lag...spent one month in Ethiopia only to fly straight to Disney World
6. Halloween
7. I view it as another obligation...even though I love it..Yeah...kind of like.... to be honest...dare I say it? Kids. Marriage. Church...etc...
8. The older I get and the more I do...the less I really care about filtering myself for approval. Yet, your support (not of me) but the women I serve means EVERYTHING to me.
9. Just going to say it....What if I spend a whole day writing my whole heart out and NOT ONE SINGLE person even reads it? Yeah...vain. I know....I know I'm not alone though;)
10. I will have to be responsible for what I say.
Whew....now that my excuses are out in the open, it really doesn't change much. I will still go about my day taking care of 6 kids, working on Because Every Mother Matters 4-12 hours a day, stressing about obligation versus relationships in regards to my husband, kids and most importantly my GOD, bathroom breaks from choosing food that I know triggers everything, if I'm going to get hate mail, constant demands for halloween candy, sleep deprivation, writing for the sake of writing and not audience participation and finally laying my head down on my pillow only to be reminded by the imaginary mosquito buzzing around my head...that I am responsible for what I say and what I do...AND it DOES matter!

Well, I always read your blog. I even leave comments. :)
Steffany,
I always read your blog too:) So, that is at least two people. Seriously its not about the blogging as it is about getting the important information that will save lives. When the need comes you blog about it. You have many mini blogs on the fb page. Don't fret about it there is always a time and a place and when there are no words there are no words. It is like waves of an ocean. They will come when they are meant to. You can post my blog that I sent you last week:)
I always read your blog too:) So, that makes two people! But seriously its not much about the blogging then its about getting the information out that will save lives- and you do on a daily basis. They are all mini blogs. Sometimes there are no words and meant to be no words. Its like the waves of the ocean they come and they go. When they are meant to come they flow. You can post by blog that I sent you last week:) Love ya!

I read your blog too, and I love you. I totally understand how health problems take their toll. Girl, only do what God calls you to do for THAT day. Don't blow your energy on something that you feel is pushing time away from something you feel is more important. God will guide you. But know this, you have a ton of friends who love & support you. Your words do matter, and your voice sings a unique tone in life's choir. God will use your notes (words) in the tunes He calls you to sing. Otherwise, He may want to use your hands & feet instead of your voice (in certain moments). He may even tell you to chill...be still...rest. Whatever the case, we'll read the blog posts as they come. I guarantee that I am not the only one who loves them.
I'm proud of you for continuing to push forward my love.
No one ever said this life would be easy or that great things would come without effort. You are by no means afraid of effort or those who don't see eye to eye, and that is a big part of why you continue to succeed!
I love your heart and your desire to be God's hands and feet. The world is changing and you are pushing that change one heart at a time.
God is with us....
You go girl!
(your hubby)
You can only do, what you can do.....and especially when you first return the re-entry (and constant bathroom issue---I had the same problem) just needs to be worked out....God will lead you as to what to do about blogging...it is HIS tool that he uses through you.......no worries girl.....Susan
